What program offering is

Blue Catalyst will harness technology in service of nature, tackling the toughest technical and operational barriers in blue carbon today.

Hosted in Singapore, Blue Catalyst is a platform that connects project developers, researchers, and innovators to overcome complex implementation and monitoring, reporting and verification barriers and scale high-integrity blue carbon projects across Asia and beyond.

Following the two-week in-person programme, participants continue their journey with six months of commercialization and technical support from Hatch Blue and WWF-Singapore. This ongoing guidance helps participants refine their business models, leverage pilot opportunities, and prepare for investment.

Participants receive:
  • Tailored mentorship
  • Access to WWF-Singapore and Hatch Blue support.
  • Exposure to project developers, offtakers, and investors during EcoSperity Week in Singapore.

We’re seeking innovators working within these challenge areas:
  • Greenhouse gas (GHG) flux measurement and modelling
  • Geospatial mapping and data integration
  • Biodiversity monitoring
  • Carbon stock modelling
  • Improving sapling mortality
  • Accessing remote or fragmented sites
  • Community engagement and safeguards

Solutions should demonstrate enterprise scalability and replicability, show innovative thinking, and be globally relevant with an Asia-first focus.
