Hatch Blue Programs
The Hatch Blue Programs Unit designs and delivers global innovation and accelerator programs for startups and scaling companies with an exclusive focus on aquaculture and alternative seafood. These programs include annual studios at Hatch’s campuses in Hawaii and Ireland, as well as thematic global studios like the Women in Ocean Food, the Blue Carbon, and the Blue Venture Builders in Hawaii and Africa. Through these varied programs, we support startups from idea validation to scaling, ensuring they have the tools and network necessary to succeed.
The position
We are looking for a Program Associate to join our dynamic team. This is a new role in the Programs Unit and the person will work closely with the Studio Director to support the execution of global startup studios. This role will enhance our ability to scale our global programs while maintaining high standards of organization, stakeholder engagement, and execution. The position includes significant global travel to support on-site studio execution.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operational planning and execution of global innovation studios.
- Coordinate logistics, schedules, and communication with startups, mentors, investors, and sponsors.
- Capture and coordinate content creation during programs, including photography, video, and interviews, in collaboration with the central marketing team
- Actively participate in global studios, providing on-site operational, marketing and event support.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in startup programs, project coordination, or operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to startups, startup studios, or accelerator programs is highly desirable.
- Experience with social media, content writing, or digital marketing is a strong plus.
