Junior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in our consulting business unit, Hatch Innovation Services. The ideal candidate will possess solid business and data analytic skills, coupled with strong data visualisation to provide business insights to our clients and portfolio companies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the global seafood industry while developing both business and data analytical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support decision-making processes
• Cleaning, structuring and analysis of collected data
• Interpretation of information from a business perspective  to provide data-driven insights for our clients 
• Presenting insights and results in a visual way (through charts, graphs, infographics)
• Collaborate with project teams on the execution of consulting projects and Hatch global innovation programs
• Participate in market research and industry analysis activities

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, strong user experience with Google Sheets or MS Excel
• A good understanding of how to convey insights through analysis and visuals (charts, infographics)
• Advantage (but not mandatory): experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, DataWrapper
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Work Experience

Prior experience in related work in data and market analysis. Project management or consultancy experience is an advantage.
